Thursday, July 17

There are dozens of delicious wild edible and medicinal wild herbs, greens, berries, and mushrooms growing in backyards and local parks in season in mid-summer. "Wildman" will bring many of them to the library to discuss and share, and for you to taste, in 2 programs, 1 for children, 1 for teenagers.

You'll learn how to recognize and use these common, valuable renewable resources, plus related science, history, folklore, mythology, and "Wildman's" comedy and Brillophone playing. You'll never look at your local natural habitats the same way again!

On Thursday, July 17, a 60-minute children's program (grades 3-5) begins at 1 PM, and a 60-minute young adults program (grade 6 and up) begins at 3 PM, at the Mary Jacobs Library, 64 Washington St, Rocky Hill, NJ.
The programs are free, but advanced registration is required. Call
(609) 924-7073 x 102 for further informaton and to sign up.
