RidgewoodLibrarian
Library
Tuesday, June 24

There are dozens of delicious wild edible and medicinal wild herbs, greens, berries, and mushrooms growing in backyards and local parks in season in early summer. "Wildman" will bring many of them to the library to discuss and share, and for you to taste.

You'll learn how to recognize and use these common, valuable renewable resources, plus related science, history, folklore, mythology, and "Wildman's" comedy and Brillophone playing. And you'll also learn about the relations between bugs, wild plants, and people, as part of the library's Get the Reading Bug summer reading theme. You'll never look at your local natural habitats the same way again!

The 60-minute children's program begins at Ridgewood Library at 2 PM, Tuesday, June 24, at 125 West Maple Ave., Ridgewood, NJ
The program is free, but open to Ridgewood residents only. Call (516) 628-2765 for further information.
No reservations are necessary
